Halifax Real Estate Blog Friday Random Post

by Andrew on August 1, 2008

Happy Natal Day Long weekend!!!!

It’s Friday and time for my random weekly post.  Last week I mentioned that I was debating between the iphone and the blackberry bold.  Well after meeting with my friend at AML communications and him subsequently showing me the features of the iphone I didn’t even bother to look at the Blackberry Bold.

When I left the store with my iphone in hand I have to admit I was having a little buyer’s remorse, I wasn’t sure if it was for me.  But after about an hour of playing around with the phone I am now 100% sold on this device.  I love it, it can do so many things; I set up my gmail account in about 2 minutes and all my emails come directly to the phone.  I have a mortgage calculator added to the phone.  So if you ever need to know what a payment on a house would be let me know and I can have the information in seconds, it has GPS integration, google maps, built in ipod, utube and so much more.

My biggest concern was the typing feature.  Though not as easy as the blackberry it is not as bad as I thought it was going to be.  If you are spelling a word and you use the wrong letter the iphone will correct you as you go.  Pretty cool!  So needless to say I love it.  Being able to get on the internet anytime is a great feature for a Real Estate agent.  I would highly reccomend this device to anyone.

This coming week I will be following up on my stats reports with the Halifax Peninsula Market Update for July .  We will look at single family, semi-detached, townhouses and condos.  Until then have a great weekend and if you are looking to buy or sell Halifax Real Estate contact me.
