Day 5 of Halifax Condo week I am profiling Founders Corner Condos in downtown Dartmouth. After a few unfortunate setbacks the remaining units are back on the market. I was very impressed with the quality of construction, the size of the units and the pricing.

Kings Wharf Project in Downtown Dartmouth

I recently visited the Kings Wharf model showroom and all I have to say is WOW. This project is ambitious, the plans look spectacular and it will change the Dartmouth Waterfront. It will be the centerpiece of the Halifax Harbour. I have prepared a short video slide show of my visit to the model showroom.

My weekly look at the state of the Halifax Real Estate Market

This week I am discussing the Dartmouth Real Estate Market. The last couple of years prices of homes in Dartmouth have been increasing steadily. For the month of July 2009 average price rose 4.8%, sales fell by only 13% which is below the average in HRM of 23%. We are starting to see a shift in the market in HRM.
